The Robinson family appear to have owned 'Cassingray', Fairview Avenue, Stanford-le-Hope for at least the years 1901 to 1939. The house was in the occupancy of a Stuart Squier, though, at the time of the 1911 census.
Do you happen to know if 'Cassingray' is still in existence, please, and its house number, if also known.

Many thanks.

You are apparently not aware that Laura Riddell, Pearson Murrell Wright's second wife, was born in Hamiota, Manitoba, on December 29th. 1901. She taught at the Chungking Canadian School from 1934 to 1934, including teaching art. This information comes from the United Church Archives in Toronto.

Congratulations on your website! It has been a great help to me in researching my husband's family. His gt. grandfather David Gayler 1842 was married to Harriet Ellingford.
David and Harriet are buried in Little Thurrock Churchyard, towards the bottom, and have an imposing celtic cross headstone.

Lovely website. Have you any connection earlier in 18th cent to the Shakespeare family of Gt. Wakering, one of whom Christopher held land of Robert Moseberry who died 1790. Obv a tenant farmer. His daughter Susannah moved to London. Perhaps all his children did.
Any info gratefully rec`d. Good Luck. CC.

  Hi Steven

This site has been forwarded to me from the decendants of Robert Miller, 1822, who live in Canada. I'm the great granddaughter of Maria Miller 1842 -1925, and John Challis. My 89, year old mother is the youngest grandchild of Maria & John.

Found this link by accident. John Frederick Schultz (the wrestler) married to Mary Ann Charles are my great grandparents. I would be happy to share info on a mutual basis, especially regarding the wrestler bit as my uncle remembers this and thought it was just a family myth.
