Thomas Percy Stevens was born 29 April 1868 at Woodham Ferrers and he died at Portsmouth 24 May 1945. Both certificates have his name as Thomas Percy Stevens. There seems some confusion as to the order of his christian names but he was known as Percy. He was a cattle trader and leased various properties all around Essex - he either went bankrupt or lost all his equity in his cattle in the depression about 1929 to 1932.
