My Aunt Eva (Grace Evaline/Evelyn) was born in Wood Green December 17,
1899. She married James Elmer Douglas, who was gassed to death in an
industrial accident at Jones & Laughlin Steel. They had three children,
Grace (b. March 18, 1922), Elmer, and William. Grace married Edward Burk
and had three children Elaine, Nancy & Janet. They live in Ohio and Pittsburgh. After the death of her husband, Eva married James Patterson, a emigre Scotsman, who also worked for J&L Steel. She died April 7, 1992 at her house in Beaver, PA.
