Notes for Harriet Savill

Harriet was baptised in North Ockendon on 23 August 1835, the daughter of John and Harriet Saveall of North Ockendon.


The 1881 census for Shakespeare Road, Romford shows the following
George Hunwicks, a coal labourer aged 42 who was born in Cranham, Essex
Harriet Hunwicks, his wife aged 45 who was born in North Ockenden,
James Hunwicks, his son aged 20 a railway shunter, born in Upminster
George Hunwicks, his son aged 11 a scholar, born in Hornchurch
Emily Hunwicks, his daughter aged 7 who was born in Romford
Ernest Hunwicks, his son aged 4 who was born in Romford
David Savill, boarder aged 41 who was born in Great Warley

Harriet Hunwicks registered the death of her father John in 1885.

Harriett Fairman, his unmarried niece aged 19, a general domestic servant, born in Hornchurch

Harriet died 20 March 1908 at 43 Waterloo Road, Romford aged 73. She is buried in grave number Y25 in Romford cemetery (Crow Lane).
