Will the 2 new super carriers currently on order see the light of day? and will they ever operate more than a handful of aircraft? The Ark operated 12 Phantoms, 14 Buccaneers, 4 Gannets, 6 Sea Kings and 2 Wessex. The current Invincible class can operate a maximum of around 22 aircraft.
